There are three common types of mail lists:

Saturation lists (a.k.a resident/occupant lists): sourced from a database of every known address in the country. verified by the U.S. Postal Service.

Consumer Data lists: sourced from compiled data of household buying habits and credit data. Allows for more precise targeting through demographic data such as household income, presence of children, and age. average deliverability of 95%

Business lists: sourced from Dun & Bradstreet, business lists are available with contact names and phone numbers for an additional fee. average deliverability is 90%.
